Ultra Wall
Ultra Wall’s unique design ensures the front is seamless and obstruction free
For some time, Acorn Structures worked on a stage concept that would ensure artists had a 180-degree view from the stage while also offering a seamless screen and production. The sales and design team at Acorn knew this innovative product would not be suitable for all festivals and concerts, or appeal to all artists, but that it had a place in the staging product market.
When the Ultra Wall was pitched by Acorn’s sales team to various promoters, SJM Concerts and Kilimanjaro had the vision to make this product the stage of choice for Ivor Novello & Brit Award winner Sam Fender’s People Watching Tour concerts at London Stadium and St James Park, Newcastle in June 2025.
The London Stadium concert sold 82,500 tickets setting a record for a single concert attendance at the stadium. The previous record was set by The Weeknd in 2023 when 80,000 tickets were sold.
When Sam Fender returned to the North-East, where he originates from, the three Newcastle concerts were each sell outs with over 150,000 people attending over the three days. Reading reviews, it is safe to say that Sam Fender delivered concerts that ensured audience satisfaction from the Acorn Ultra Wall stage.
