Providers of innovative scaffold-based event structures across the United Kingdom and beyond

Over the past decade Acorn has been responsible for bringing some of the most innovative scaffold-based event structures to life and as a company are continually working on product evolution. Because of this Acorn Structures have a reputation as thought leaders in the temporary structures and staging industry across the United Kingdom and beyond. Acorn has an in-house design and build team with an extensive industry and product knowledge who work closely with clients to ensure end-user satisfaction is met no matter how small, large, simple or complex the structure required.

Working with clients in multiple sectors, Acorn has provided everything from complete studio complexes to help with the shortage of UK studio space for the film and TV industry to small gantries for starting lines at sporting events. The variety of staging structures provided by Acorn from the Mega Structure to the Midi Stage have helped to create spectacular focal points for a wealth of festivals and concerts. Many high-profile festivals feature not one but multiple stages supplied and installed by Acorn.

Often the temporary structures Acorn provide are not visible but without the sub-structures Acorn specialise in the main structure would not be possible. Ground levelling platforms for marquees to house leading exhibitions and ice rinks that are the focal point of Winter festivals are an example of this type of Acorn work.

At the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014 the focus of the opening ceremony was a giant screen that lit up the stadium. The screen support for that screen was designed and built by Acorn Structures.

For over a decade Acorn has installed a 35,000m2 ground levelling platform in Regents Park, London for marquees to be erected on that house Frieze London and Frieze Masters Art Fair. Branded access solutions and gantries, grandstands and media platforms are further examples of Acorn structures that can be found at events, ceremonies and occasions where temporary structures are essential to provide the facilities needed to make the visitor experience a memorable one.
