Since 2011 Acorn has worked in partnership with Frieze Events Ltd, 20-20 Events and Neptunus to successfully deliver temporary structures and temporary power and electrical solutions for Frieze London and Frieze Masters in Regents Park, London.

Due to the prestigious nature of the event location strict working, delivery and time deadlines are imposed on this project. Acorn and their client, 20-20 Events, work together to ensure the strict delivery schedule of the Royal Parks is met.

Acorn is responsible for the design and installation of 35,000m2 of ground levelling platforms with internal and external ramps and steps for their client Neptunus built from Layher event system.

Bespoke ancillary structures are designed and installed direct for Frieze Events Ltd including 300m2 front entrance platforms at both events with pergolas, access ramps, steps and entrance sign structures with glass balustrade handrail and FR event netting.

In addition to the installation of the temporary structures, Acorn installs, distributes, manages and removes a temporary power network at both Frieze London and Frieze Masters providing house lighting and power to all restaurants and communal areas. To reduce the carbon footprint onsite, green bio fuel is now used in the generators and plant and new LED exhibitor and house lights were installed.

Furthermore, Acorn helped to showcase the individual exhibitor art by installing 3000 linear meters of lighting truss with 2600 flood lights and 500 spotlights on the exhibitor stands at Frieze Art Fair.
